The Slash signature guitar is crafted with a traditional-style weight-relieved mahogany body capped with a AAA figured maple top and a slim sleek fast 1960 neck!

To honor one of the most influential rock guitar players of all time, the Gibson Custom Shop has released the Limited Edition Randy Rhoads Les Paul Custom, a period-correct replica of the guitar Randy played. The Custom Shop worked closely with the Rhoads family, examining the original guitar to get the look of it just right, from the deeply aged white finish down to the buckle-rash on the control plates, and Randy's name engraved in the pickguard.
To recreate that instantly recognizable tone Randy was known for, Gibson developed a brand new pickup specifically for this instrument. The Super '74 humbuckers are wound with 42 AMG wire and feature genuine Alnico 3 magnets. They are wax potted to prevent feedback at high volume levels, and measure approximately 7.4k to 7.6k ohms. Gibson really nailed it with this one—they're nice and bright with incredible string response. Another great feature is the "small D Rhoads" neck profile, perfect for those who like a thin rounded shape that is very easy to move around on.
